Physical PS5 discs need a compatible, installed disc drive. A Digital Edition without a drive cannot play your discs. Original Digital Edition hardware cannot take the detachable drive used by supported Slim and Pro models. Check the exact CFI model and included drive, rather than relying on a stock photo.
Our ready-to-play hardware check looks for a controller, power cable, HDMI cable and controller USB cable explicitly stated as included. A display, internet access where required and compatible games are separate. Console-only can make sense if you already own the missing equipment; we do not invent accessory replacement prices.
Ask about disc reading where applicable, controller drift, HDMI output, overheating and access to online services. Check return terms and the full listing. Accounts and previously redeemed digital codes are not transferable value in our comparisons. “Tested” is a seller claim, not our inspection.
